An Argentine mare with international quality. She is a daughter of James (by Almé), a performing stallion who “made” the Rio Bravo Farm. Her mother, R. Irlandesa, was without doubt the best Argentine mare by her offspring achievements: she foaled many excellent showjumpers, like Collezione Cesare La Perla (ex Godofreda), exported to Holland where she was included in the 2001 Dutch Gold Team, winner of the Nations Cup under her amateur owner Rob Eras; she is in the WBFSH best 100 showjumpers list for the last 5 years. Also by R. Irlandesa is Godofredo a good performer under Alfredo Morello. All her offspring, many of them exported, by different stallions are good showjumpers. While in our embryo transfer program, HRB Chanel brilliantly competed in dressage under Isabel Guerrero and in showjumping under R. Romero in 1.30 and 1.40 m, but was soon retired because of a tendon injury. She was remarkable for her power and explosion at the fence, her willingness to please her rider and her big heart and courage. Her offspring are showing already these traits in free-jumping.
