In Galaxie d’Elle’s pedigree, the best French bloodlines are found. Her father, Narcos II,
leading sire alive for approved stallions in CSO, has produced more than 350 winners and
31 approved stallions. He himself won at the national and international Grand Prix level,
and was pre-selected for the O.G. in Seoul. Her grandsire, Jalisco B, and great-grandsire,
Uriel, are also leading French stallions.
Her 1st and 2nd mothers were Grand Prix showjumpers, and her 3rd mother was Gazelle,
one of the foundations of modern French breeding. In Gazelle’s get there are more than
10 French stallions, among them Double Espoir, undisputed chef de race, and Digne Espoir,
father of Olympic horses. Gazelle is found in the pedigrees of international winners in all
generations: Mise en Plis, Nouvelle Espoir and Reve d’Espoir in the 60’s, Gazelle d’Elle in
the 70’s and more recently, the stallions Quel Type d’Elle and Reve d’Elle.
Gazelle d’Elle has excellent conformation and showed exceptionally well in free jumping.
Because of her temperament, pedigree and jumping aptitudes, she was bred as a 3 year old.
