Her dam sire, Gafurio, was imported to Argentina by Haras Windcrest. He is a son
of Quidam de Revel, great international champion, who is still leading the stallion
rankings. Many of his offspring are showing at international level and breeding
approved sons themselves. In 2007 he had 80 approved sons.
Gafurio left three small generations in Argentina among which we can mention:
Be Eme Car Furia, winner of Breeder’s Cup I; Be Eme Vanidosa, 2nd Breeder’s
Cup I and 5th Young Horses Championship II; Be Eme Chimmy, 5th Breeder’s
Cup I, 4th Breeder’s Cup II and exported to the USA; Be Eme Indian Wind, winner
in 1,30 classes.
Her second dam, Justine du Plessis, was born at the very prestigious Haras du
Plessis, in Normandy, France. Her sire is Veneur de Baugy, a son of Gran Veneur,
sire of great international stallions such as Tenor de la Cour, Major de la Cour, Le
Tot de Semilly, and in Argentina of Veneur de la Roche II, out of Berenice (by Nankin
out of Ondine de Baugy) a full sister of Dirka, Quidam de Revel’s very famous
dam. From this maternal family come the chef de race Uriel and his international
siblings Commandeur, Dauguet de Baugy and Troubadour.
Third dam, Keep Me, is a full sister of the internationals Narcotique and P’tit Pol
and uterine sister of the also internationals Ulane du Plessis, Rapide du Plessis
and Flora du Plessis. Her dam Bourée is the best producer dam in the history
of the WBFSH.
