Her dam sire, L’Oreal, was imported to Argentina and competed under the saddle
of Daniel Flores. He got his excellent movements from 2nd sire Fruehlingsball
and the jumping style and scope from 2nd sire Lord, one of the pillars of Holstein
breeding. Caletto II, also in L’Oreal’s sire line, is the sire of such great international
horses as Operette La Silla, Jewel’s Classic Touch, Contender, Caretino, Cassiana
Joter and Cassandra.
HRB Joya is also the dam of Be Eme Amatista (2002, by Herr Calando) sold at
the 2005 Haras Windcrest Sale, good performance in the dressage Young Horses
Championship; Be Eme Diadema (2003, by Red Devil) sold at the 2006 Haras
Windcrest Sale, exported to France; BM Turquesa (2004, by Magnus Calixto) sold
at the 2008 Haras Windcrest Sale and BM Corona (2007, by Concorde) sold at
the 2010 Haras Windcrest Sale in one of the top prices.
