SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
TERMS
OF PAYMENT:
Payment in terms for those who are regular clients and have an updated and agreed credit with the auction firm will be in 12 monthly instalments.
Buyers with no agreed credit must pay cash and will enjoy a discount on the purchase price, which will also be available to all buyers willing to pay the total purchase price in cash. Buyers who intend to export their purchase will have to pay the total balance prior to shipment of
the horse. It is essential that all purchase documents have been executed with the auctioneer before the horses are released to the buyers.
GENERAL
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The horses described in this catalog will be sold pursuant to the usual sale terms and conditions. Please, address any inquiries to the auctioneer before the auction. Fee to be paid by the buyer will be 7% of the purchase price, to be paid at the time of the execution of the purchase documents and payment of the balance due. All horses are exempted from payment of VAT and all other federal and/or municipal taxes on account of this being their initial sale.
Once the hammer has fallen, the Club Hípico Argentino, the seller and the auctioneer will not be held liable for the life and health of the horses sold or for any accidents that they may suffer or cause. Buyers will implement the necessary means to care and tend for the horses, as well as for the transportation of said horses to their destination. Ownership of the horses will be conveyed by the auctioneer only after the balance due has been paid in full.
SANITARY
CONDITIONS:
All horses have had an X-ray check performed by a veterinarian, which can be reviewed. Since all horses are “on display” and the interested parties have been given sufficient time to examine the horses as they deem appropriate, either in person or through a professional appointed by them, once the hammer has fallen no claims or returns will be accepted (except pursuant to the “Export Guarantee”). Horses shall be handed over with their corresponding EIA Certificates and vaccination against influenza and encephalomyelitis.
EXPORT GUARANTEE:
All horses sold with the intent to export are provided with a guarantee for the results of tests required by the country of destination. Once a horse has been purchased, all clinical tests required by the country of destination must be performed by a recognized laboratory within a 16 day period. Should any of the tests performed prevent the horse from entering the country of destination, return of the horse will be accepted, the total amount paid until that moment will be reimbursed and the transaction will be rescinded with no further obligation by the seller. Further details are available at the auctioneer’s offices prior to the auction.
These terms and conditions are a translation from the Spanish language. In case of dispute only the original Spanish version is binding.
